ALBM.IN ("we", "our", "us") is a wedding photography gallery platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information We Collect

• Account data - name, email address, and password (hashed) when you register as a photographer.
• Project & photo data - images you upload, project names, client names, and event details you provide.
• Gallery visitor data - IP address and user-agent string recorded when a visitor views a gallery, used solely for analytics shown to the photographer.
• Selfie scans - selfie images uploaded for face-search are processed in memory and never stored on disk.
• Usage analytics - we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people arrive at the site. It sets its own cookies and sends Google the page address, approximate location, device and browser. Gallery and portfolio addresses contain the photographer and project name, so those are included. Photos, selfies and the contents of a gallery are never sent to Google.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the platform.
• To display gallery analytics to the owning photographer.
• To enforce storage and usage limits per your subscription tier.
• To measure which pages people visit, so we can improve the site.
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

3. Data Storage & Security

Photos are stored on our servers. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete projects and photos at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account entirely, contact us.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. We also use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies to measure visits. You can block these with a browser extension or by using a browser that blocks third-party tracking, and the site will work normally without them. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not run ads.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].

7. Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
